Course Overview: Urban Movement and Evasive Disruption
You've just found the real deal. This lead instructor of this module is Ed Calderon, the founder of the legendary Ed's Manifesto & Libre training systems. Mr. Calderon is a former counter narcotics officer out of Mexico City, and needs little introduction. He is extremely well known in this field, and he has trained special operations forces, law enforcement, and high level client protection firms from around the globe. When elite professionals think they may need these skills they come to Ed Calderon, and now you can too.
Ed teaches people to move in Non-Permissive Environments (NPE) where the tools are minimal and the threats are high. This course was developed by security specialists operating in hostile and non-permissive urban environments. Urban movement encompasses the roots of primitive survival skills and their applications in a modern world.
Students will learn such skills as; improvised weapons and their usage, understanding and exploiting the criminal mindset, disrupting searches, principles of urban sabotage, proper cover vs concealment, stealth communication, and more. Learn to see connections between modern and primitive movement to gain a better understand and exploit predatory criminal behavior. Students will walk away with the tools and awareness to take cues from the environment and the knowledge to alter their own movement and behavior to make them less susceptible to attack. This course will be a blend of lectures and outdoor exercises.
