The Lifesaver Course

Emergency Oxygen Administration, Epi-Pen Administration, BLS, & Advanced Bleeding Control: All in one weekend.

Oxygen emergencies, heart emergencies, bleeding emergencies, and severe allergic reactions require an immediate response. In a remote environment or during a natural disaster, when help is far away, you must be able to take action yourself. We are combining these life saving four courses in one training packed weekend. Once again we are breaking new ground in the industry, and are brining highly effective new training packages to the public.

These are nationally recognized certification courses.

Students will test for certification and receive a certification card for each course, respectively, in addition to receiving our own Coyne Survival “Lifesaver Certificate”.

Emergency Oxygen Administration: Serious and life-threatening medical emergencies often cause oxygen to be depleted in the body leaving the victim at risk for shock. The Emergency Oxygen Administration program focuses on administering emergency oxygen to breathing and non-breathing persons, operating emergency oxygen delivery systems, and integrating pulse oximetry.

Epi-Pen Administration: This course will teach you the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to care for a person having a severe allergic reaction; including how to administer epinephrine using an auto-injector device.

BLS: High quality Adult/Child/Infant CPR originally designed for healthcare professionals. This training goes beyond the basics to impart a more high quality CPR skill set to the care provider. This course includes instruction on the use of assisted breathing devices and airway adjuncts, two person CPR, and AED (automated external defibrillator) use.

Advanced Bleeding Control: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, traumatic injury is one of the leading causes of death for people under 50 years of age in the United States. A large portion of those deaths are from severe bleeding – the most treatable cause of death due to trauma. This course is designed to provide detailed information on the control of severe external bleeding, including the use of direct pressure, commercial pressure bandages, tourniquets and packed dressings. ABC is designed for groups and individuals who have a greater than average chance of witnessing an injury event in which heavy bleeding occurs and professional medical care is not readily available or is overwhelmed, such as law enforcement, private security, workplace emergency response team personnel and staff at large events, campuses or large occupied buildings.
